ALCD APPOINTS FIRST FEMALE CHAIRMAN IN ITS 30 YEAR HISTORY

Wendy Popplewell was appointed Chairman of the ALCD on 6 March 2007. She is the Association's first female Chairman in the Association's 30 year history. She has been an ALCD Council Member since 2000 and was appointed Treasurer in 2004 before becoming Vice Chairman in 2006.
